Depending on the plan you have, there will usually be a co-payment for the examination, and an allowance for materials (contacts or glasses). Some plans offer a set discount percentage.

Also, keep in mind that your vision care plan may not be under the same name as your general medical insurance. We recommend contacting your Human Resources Director at your place of employment if you are unsure as to the name of your vision insurance company. This information often is not included on your medical insurance card.
